The participation of two or more disciplines endows the designer with a broad palette of skills that are usually considered distinct.&nbsp;I have worked as a creative director, ux &amp; interactive designer, e-learning &amp;&nbsp;instructional design, user interface &amp; web designer\/developer, digital project manager, and as a web marketing and communications specialist \u2014 I\u2019m an out-of-the-box creative thinker!<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">My interest is in <a href=\"https:\/\/www.linkedin.com\/pulse\/success-your-business-depends-colin-jackson\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Service Design<\/a>,&nbsp;<a title=\"User Experience\" href=\"http:\/\/uxtc.ca\/index.php\/user-experience\/\">User Experience<\/a>, <a title=\"User Experience\" href=\"http:\/\/uxtc.ca\/index.php\/user-experience\/\">Human-Centred Design<\/a> and <a title=\"Services\" href=\"http:\/\/uxtc.ca\/index.php\/service\/\">Services<\/a>, <a title=\"Personas\" href=\"http:\/\/uxtc.ca\/index.php\/personas\/\">Usability<\/a>,&nbsp;<a title=\"Web Design\" href=\"http:\/\/uxtc.ca\/index.php\/skill\/web\/\">Web Design<\/a>,&nbsp;and <a title=\"Photography\" href=\"http:\/\/uxtc.ca\/index.php\/the-photograph\/\">Photography<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">Skilled with Mac OSX, Windows, Adobe Master Collection, OmniGraffle, Axure, Wireframes, OmniPlan, Basecamp, Project Management, WordPress, CSS, AS3, &nbsp;Final Cut Pro, Sorenson Squeeze, MySQL, Keynote, Microsoft Office, Articulate, and Google Analytics.&nbsp;I have&nbsp;a Master of Design degree in Interdisciplinary Design and used to teach a Foundation Course on using Adobe Creative Suite, and a Design Management Course during the Winter Semester&nbsp;for the Design Division at <a title=\"NSCAD University\" href=\"http:\/\/nscad.ca\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">NSCAD University<\/a>&nbsp;\u2014 guiding and inspiring the next generation of design practitioners.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\"><a href=\"https:\/\/ca.linkedin.com\/pub\/colin-jackson\/6\/657\/285\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><img loading=\"lazy\" class=\"alignright\" src=\"https:\/\/static.licdn.com\/scds\/common\/u\/img\/webpromo\/btn_viewmy_120x33.png\" alt=\"View Colin Jackson's profile on LinkedIn\" width=\"120\" height=\"33\" border=\"0\"\/><\/a><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>As an Interdisciplinary Designer I offer&nbsp;solutions through the process of design.
